hey i had a lsx intake manifold and 90mm TB, 85mm mass air flow sensor, long tubes, cattless y-pipe and cat back, as well as a custom tune and my car picked up 17hp 13ft/lbs from the egr and throttle coolant bypass. maybe you pick up more power the more mods you have done to your car. you know, cuz then be come more apparent restrictions to power after your car is breathing better. but im not sure so if anyone knows and im wrong then i apoligize. but ya my z28 picked up alot more power than 5hp.

Wouldn't the EGR mod already have been done if you had a FAST 90mm combo? And for that matter wouldn't the throttle body bypass have automatically been done as well considering that most 90mm TBs don't have the coolant tubes running through them?When we say 'EGR mod' we are talking about the simple 'cutting of the protrusion' that invades the hole on top of the intake on pre 2001 LS1 F-bodies correct?
Or do you mean total removal of the EGR system?
