Default New parts!!!!

hey, just got my new parts or half of them!!!

got the injectors, yank converter ss3600 and the dyantech headers.

cant help it but i just had to share it!!!!

i was wondering though, i was under the assumption that it would come with the straight pipes. I got everything else but that. Am i wrong in assuming this. I didnt specify them but i thought it came with it.

Should i even worry about the cats? i do like the exhaust loud and since im in miami, the non existent emissions would allow me to run straight pipes. Should i fabricate or does dynatech sell them seperately, i cant sem to find them....

besides that, they look great and i cant wait to have them dropped in...

i want to take the time to thank APE for all their help and suggestions. I cant stress enough how curtious, friendly, and obviously knowledgable the people at APE are and that beyond any attempt to be superior of all the builders is key to having a successful business.

You don't want straight pipes. They sound like . You want what we refer to as true duals (even though straight pipes are technically true duals, when we say it that is not what is meant). Just like straight pipes but with an X or H crossover. The crossover kills the rasp and improves power. Or are you referring to an ORY (off road Y-pipe?)? That would be a Y-pipe with no cats. Either way, what you want is true duals, if you aren't afraid of a little noise.

yes i refering to the y-pipe. i thought i came with both the cats and staight pipes. I know wat true duals are and i did consider them but i didn't want to sacrifice clearance and my setup with the loudmouth, with a borla instead of the reso, sounds just as mean an loud as any true dual setup. Besides, the power gains arent much over a complete y-pipe exhaust.

Duals give a nice low-mid range bump in power. The main difference is NOT peak power so it often goes unnoticed. An ORY with a cat-back like the loudmouth is much louder than true duals. Doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the duals, but it is definately louder. As far as the cats and ORY are you thinking of FLP? FLP comes with quick disconnect segments that have a straight pipe and cats that are quickly interchangeable.

exactly, the mid-range punch is much better than the peak power which makes it feel quiker of the line. I took all of this into consideration but wat made me choose the y-pipe setup is the clearance issue. Has anyone done a before after comprison of a true dual set up when compared to a y-pipe setup?

well, i know that flp has the interchangeable pipes but i was under the impression that the dyantechs also came with a set. Now that i think about it, i dont know where i got the notion form but watever.........

i know it will be quit negigible if i swap the cats for more power but do they even have a set of straight pipes?

also, is there anyone that has a set of dynatechs and straight pipes?
