some help please!

i installed a ported TB today that my friend had from his 01 SS that he is selling. he had a big cam in it TR236 i believe, he drilled the hole to be bigger for more air, so my problem is i put it on and it is idling weird. at first it is at about 8-900 but then i give it some gas and it will stay at where ever i revved to then drop back down to pretty much normal but a lil higher at about 1k. is the bigger hole in the plate the reason? cuz i still have my TB so i can put that one in the ported one

i know it is a dumb question but i want to make sure before i take it off again to swap plates, also to see if there is some alternate route of fixing it rather than swaping

Go drive it for a while and see if it cures itself. I had a similar issue when I swapped my intake. The CPU needed to relearn.

i also got an ASP UD pulley, i was curious if anyone had instructions as to how to put this on? also will i need new belts to do this?

You could get the plate with the hole in it to work, but that seems like the long way around the race track to me. I would swap them out - that will make your life a lot easier IMHO.
