I had the LM on stock manifold's for a while and loved it. Always got looks and questions asked, the drone at hiway speeds wasn't all that bad either, its a great mod for the money...and your friends who told you that you lose hp and tq by opening up the exhaust need to go back to playing with Star Wars action figures, they are clearly uninformed.

Its so weird I have the loudmouth and JBA shorties and my car sounds completely different than yours ! Can my tiny insignificant shorties change it that much?
If you have a A4 it will drone around 55. If you have a M6 it will drone around 75-80. But not bad. I love mine. But yes you will get people in your car and they will ask you how you stand it. All I ever do is when they ask me that I just turn the radio up.
