Your friends have no clue what they are talking about. You will gain quite a bit of torque...and and bunch of hp coming from stock exhaust...get it!!

i have got the loudmouth...and i love it... the only thing youll have to do later on is put a dynomax bullet in place of the resonator once you install LT's and ORY... but just the loudmouth sounds mean as hell.... DO IT...ull like it..

Get the loudmouth and a lid, my last 1/4 ET was 13.09. That's with nitto extreme drag radials at 18 psi.

loudmouth sounded awesome on my old 2000 A4 but was annoying for everyday driving, ran 13.1 @ 105 with only loudmouth and air lid

How does the bullet sound when you get headers? I have headers waiting to go on in the spring and I still have my LM. Im thinkin about ditchin the exhaust and gettin TD's but Im just wondering how you guys like it with the bullet in place of the resonator. Does it still have that mean sound to it or is it quieted down a bit?

It will quiet it down *some*, but don't kid yourself, it will still be LOUD. A bullet is still straight through with a little bit of packing around the sides. Nothing more. To me, it will sound better with a bullet.

I love mine. When you put it on. Have one of your buddys (if you trust any to drive your car) go out and hammer on it. It sounds mean. Especially from a long way. I had one of my friends do that when I first got mine put on. He fired on it from about a mile away from my house and I heard him.

I loved mine when i first got it, and I loved it when i put headers on. It's not unbearable with headers trust me. I got too use to it so i run open headers now.

I love my with headers and LTs. Its not too much louder at highway speeds but when you get on the throttle it sounds really mean and loud.

I have the loudmouth and it is great. I want to get trude duals though when I get headers. I don't want too much rasp! Also, you buddies said you will lose torque when you get this exhaust? Your buddies seem to be idiots. Ask them the reason behind their statement!!!

I have the LM and love it!! With that, an SLP lid and all the free mods I can hammer it from a 60-70 roll and still get sideways a bit. Very nice setup, IMO. Like the others said, though, I'm going Borla-Mouth once I scrape up enough funds to get LTs and ORY. Happy modding!

I have it, i despise it.Drone at cruising speeds from 55 on up (in an A4) is just annoying. It gets raspy (even with stock manifolds and the NEW large diameter Y-pipe) at 5200-5300+ RPMs. I would not reccommend this exhaust for anything other than striclty performance! dont expect sound. If you want to be a step ahead and not worry so much, get TSP Rumbler (same thing with a bullet muffler instead of a Resonator-which really is a larger section of pipe-no performance diff. and TSP is cheaper) if sounds an issue go with something else

there is better out there just my $.02

I am also considering the loudmouth and do not plan on ( at the moment) doing anything else to the car from the cat forward. All I am looking for is cat back. Will the LM have droning with stock manifolds and cat? There seem to be alot of people who like LM and a few who thinks its to loud so the more info the better.

Thanks,
Scott

for some reason i doubt you leave the car stock....because after you go faster u cant FU@#$# stop.... its adictive....but on stock manifolds the LM sounds bad ***.... and is prolly one of the top flowing exhausts( except for TD's....etc...open headers). i would say go with it... go with the dual tips and be happy....at WOT it sounds mean as hell!

You may be right, but for now I'll keep telling myself no and keep putting money into my bikes. Any droning that you know off with stock manifolds with LM's?

stock manifolds and Y-pipe it had no rasp....atleast i thought so....

but with LT's and ORY and a bullet in place of the resonator ( like i have) it still rasps a little....but im just going for performance so i dont give a ****...plus at WOT you can hear me like a mile off...hahaha
