Plugs: Check a couple of the easier ones to take out. If they look bad, change them. Id start checking around 20k - 25k.

Wires: Drive them and dont think about it till they start to give you problems (if they ever do)

Not trying to hijack your thread, but what are the effects of over or under gapping a spark plug. Say .50 or .60 instead of .55.

Its will probably preignite your cylinder and sent the flame front up the intake valve and runner and eventually through the fuel line resulting in the explosion of your fuel tank. Or it could just do nothing. Unless youre running nitrous, FI, or serious compression, dont worry about a little vartiation from intended gap. It will happen over time anyway.

Lightbulb

I just swapped my TR55s out yesterday to try the new Brisk plugs.
My TR55s had only about 2k-3k miles on them and were in the car for over 15 months, they still looked great. Some say to change them after only 10k-15k miles but I'd think you could get up to 25k miles out of them easy in an NA application if the car is tuned properly.

I've seen TR55s look fine after 30K miles in a stock motor. Probably a good idea to start checking them after 20-25K though.
