Quick Quest. About 160 Tstat
I've never gotten, nor even heard of anyone else ever getting, an SES light from installing a 160* t-stat...not from using a fan switch, Hypertech or LS1 Edit/HP Tuners to work the fan settings either.

cooler engine temps pull timing from some year model LS1's. If you're going to do a t-stat, do it right before you get tuned for another mod. Otherwise it might be a waste of money.
