ASP Underdrive Pulley Question

i'm looking at buying an ASP pulley but i have a few questions. Will the pulley effect my stock monsoon stereo at all? Also do i need a an overdrive alt pulley? I heard u should get them on A4 cars but not necessary on m6. Just wanted your opinions...

I doubt you'll need the overdrive pulley for the alt with an m6. Also theres tons of threads on this.

it might weaken a little when at idle with a/c and the lights on but otherwise you should be okay. Just bump your idle up a little with hptuners or a programmer.

well i was going to get a cam soon and i was actually going to drop my idle to probably 850rpm....maybe an Underdrive pulley wouldnt be a good choice for me

I ran the ASP Pulley and had no charging issues. Even with a bigger system, I haven't had any charging issues. Just get the crank pulley and be done with it.

I have only the ASP pulley, no underdrive or overdrive on the alt. and it's been working fine with the stock stereo.
I've notice the headlights will dim now when I first start slipping the clutch and the rpms drop below the normal idle rpm (750) but other than that no charging issues.
