bullets in the ypipe

bullets in the ypipe Hey guys, ok i got pulled over today for my tint, and the police officer looked under my car cause he said my car stunk (he didnt see the cut out thank god) but he noticed i didnt have cats...so quick thinking i had a set of 2.5 inch bullets i was giving to a friend in my back seat so i showed him them and said i was waiting to get them installed, and he no idea they weren't cats.
i was thinking i do have some raspiness with my set up (lt's ory, cut out, hookercatback), would putting 12 inchbulelts in the y pipe off the header collectors clean up the rasp? cause apparently they look close enough to cats to help me out there
has anyone else tried this with an ory?

In Cali, no cats = $20,000 fine 
Anyways... bullets look nothing like cats, that cop just wasnt very smart. You can get fake cats or find some cat heat sheilding and weld that onto the pipe. That way it looks like there is a cat but its really just a straight pipe going through.

Guess I'll be the first one to answer!! 
Yes, bullets in the exhaust pipes will cut down the rasp a bit. I was running one in my intermediate pipe before and it seemed to work pretty good. About 90% rasp gone, I'd say. Theoretically speaking, one in each side of the Y-pipe would work better but it was too much headache for me to mess with. Good luck!
