Default random tech cat back

this guy offered to sell me a used random tech cat back, less than 3k on the cat back system for 200. is this a good deal?? how does this cat back system sound on a stock 97 formula??? my other choice was a new hooker cat back system.

It won't be really loud on a stock LT1. The RT system sounds nice, IMO.

The flow is awesome, it's a straight through muffler design.

i'll be adding cutouts to it probably, and getting LT headers and a hooker jet hot y pipe. :-D would that sound nice?

i'm also thinkin about putting electric cut outs on this system, how would it sound??? also what would it sound like w/ no cats?

For $200 I would say thats not a bad deal. RT is a great flowing exhaust. Not the best looking catback but it does perform well. I had a RT catback on my car from 98 to 2004.
