Question Stock Exhaust Manifolds, what year is best???

Out of all the years of the LS1 F-Body, what year has the best exhaust manifold that include, fit, finish, quality?

The reason I ask is because when I get a single turbo kit, I'll need one for the pass side.

Which ever one I get, I plan on getting it either polished and/or Jet Hot coated.

Thanks...

Bill

2001, 2002. They are cast iron and are a little nicer (not any better flowing) than the 2000 cast iron manifolds because they lack the EGR provision on the passenger side manifold.

Would Shorty headers work since they are a direct bolt in, to replace stock?

Turbo guys prefer to use cast iron stuff due to the heat.
