Ebay Seller Fraud!!!!!

Ebay Seller Fraud!!!!! This guy should be shot and the bidders should have done there homework BEFORE bidding on this auction!! This guy is trying to pass off a LS1 intake for a LS6 intake from a 2001 Vette. Read the auction and you see what I mean. I sent the two current bidders an email telling them what was happening and you can read that below.

"Just thought I would let you know that you are NOT bidding on a LS6 intake in that auction. It is a LS1 intake and will NOT give you more than your stock intake on your motor. It is EXACTLY the same intake on 98-00 Camaro, Trans Am, Formula, and Firehawk. This guy is trying to mislead buyers with manipulating wording in his auction. The pictures of the intake on his auction are of a LS1 intake NOT a LS6 as he is trying to make buyers think. This intake isn't worth 35 bucks shipped yet, you and another bidder have it over 100.00. The LS6 intake (right) is flat on the bottom and has parralel divides between the ports. I asked the seller for the casting number of the intake he is selling, but no reply. He is fraud BEWARE. Retract your bid!!!"
Damn man, you can even see where the old coolant Xover pipes were under the LS1 intake. It made markes in the foam on the bottom of the intake. FRAUD!!!!

Ebay is a scary place! I had someone copy MY ad for my race sled. Pictures of MY SLED IN MY DRIVEWAY. My exact wording. The seld was selling for 20k. He had it listed for 5k shipped anywhere in the world. He had it listed buy it now! It took forever for ebay to end that auction. That happened twice. You have to be VERY cautious!
exactly, nice job spotting the fraud. i always deal with guys from the board for used parts, most everyone here is a good honest person. very rare these days, i hate these scamming losers, what a low life!

Something like this happened to me recently on EBAY-guy was selling LM tips. The pic he had listed was a generic pic of the doublewall LM tips, not the actual part. So I asked him if they were doublewall, he siad they came off the LM, I showed him the dif. kinds of LM tips, he was selling the regulat LM tips, not the doublewalls. I had him cancel my bid. I warned the other bidders, and luckily no one won the auction.

and he wants an extra 30 for block off plates. give me a break. I just bought all three from a board sponsor for under 20 bucks including a freeze plug for the EGR hole on the intake.

From reading the ebay ad, it seems to be presented as an LS6 intake off of a 2002 Corvette. So he's a dick trying to scam someone or just an idiot who doesn't know what he's selling; either way no one should have to pay for what they are not going to be getting. JMO.

thanks for posting this up guys. I was the winning bidder before it got shut down. Then he is emailing me off ebay that he will sell it for 245.00......his story is he bought it for a 99 t/a never installed it and now is buying a house and wants to sell. The guys on bhamracing.com were telling me that it was a ls6 style intake just not the factory one?
