Default What I need?

I'm planning to install my hooker headers with a texas speed catted-y. Is it just installing the headers with gaskets and merging th y with the collectors? Will I need extensions of the o2 sensors or Will I need new ones?

The hookers should come with them, just installed my Hookers yesterday. Good luck- see https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/280063-help-hooker-lt-post-install-bad-missfiring-02-codes-no-power-running-pig-rich.html

You shouldn't need new O2 sensors...just extensions. My pacesetters came w/ the wiring to do my own extensions but I took the easy way out and ordered a pair. I recommend reusing the stock header gaskets or buying new OEM ones...heard the paper ones suck.

Just get some new OEM gaskets (as has been stated) or reuse the old ones (should work too), and O2 sims. I did the stage 8 locking header bolts as well, but it wasn't necessary.

I ordered them through Speed Inc. along with new OEM gaskets...I'm sure I could have reused the stockers, but I didn't want ANY problems as this is my daily driver. They would have the O2 extensions too...

I think you'll be much better off buying new 'vette
rear O2s, than reusing stockers and buying extensions.
Headers make life difficult for the stock O2s with their
low heater power in the now-cooler exhaust gas. The
'vette rears come with nice long harnesses and plug
right in.
