Question ASP UD Pulley Question

I want to buy and ASP Underdrive Pulley for my 2001 SS Camaro, but it is an automatic and i need to know if im gonna have to get the alt. overdrive pulley to keep it charging right. And if i do get the Alt. overdrive pulley will it cause me to get any less power out of the underdrive pulley? Also, what kind of gains will i see with the pulley/pullies???
Thanks.

I was fine with the crank pulley only. You need a new bolt, two new (different size) belts, and the UD pulley itself. I just sold mind. You might check the FS section.

Crank pulley only should work fine. I would not get the underdrive alternator pulley though. If you have charging issues, it's a simple fix the the overdrive alternator pulley.

Thanks for the info. I've got 410 hp and run high 12's in the 1/4 - so if i get the UD pulley will I be able to feel any difference at all, and about how much time will it knock off my 1/4 mile?

Is the crank pulley worth all the trouble of installation?

NOOOOOOOOO As you can see by the times between the 2 cars. Makes the engine bay look nice but by no means is it worth 50 dollars which is why I don't have it on the Z.

You'll be fine with just the crank pulley. You should torque it to specs 150FT lbs of TQ!

My instructions said 240ft lbs (or until bottomed out), loosen retighten to 37ft lbs + 120 degrees Doesn't look like too much hassle to me. Nothing else to do in a Michigan winter.
