What year is your car? I just had my car HP Tuned and got all of that crap deleted. I'm going to be taking it off my car this weekend. If you can use it and want it I'll sell it for $10 + shipping.

Ya'll rock.... I already got someone to send me one, but thanx all for the responses. I know that it probably doesn't do all that much for me, but it makes obnoxious noises and I can't stand it so I am just going to replace it.

Verdad Gallardo the air pump is the thing on the drivers side of the engine compartment just behind the head light, that has the large black tubing going to it. if you remove it you will need to get it turned off in the PCM or it will throw a code(i think). i have yet to remove my pump but it is tuned out because i got race style headers with out the provisions for it to hook up to and it would just be blowing air around under the hood for no reason. 
The pump is really easy to remove 4 10 mm bolts. You'll have to get them from underneath the car. Just undo your water shield flap on the driver side and pull it out of the way and the pump is right there. Then follow your tubes up into the engine compartment and on the back of the driver side head there is a 15mm holding a bracket to the head (a ratcheting wrench will make this pretty easy) loosen that up and start pulling the tubes out. Also a small vacuum line right behind the intake you'll have to remove the T in it and reconnect it w/out the t. You will have to turn off your AIR codes.
