I love my borla exhaust. Some don't though, all you will get is a bunch of opinions, but just go with what you want.

I have a loudmouth exhaust but with a borla muffler in place of the resonator. Love it.

If your going to have both, install Mac's with the Y and leave the loudmouth if you don't like it put on the Borla.

I have the loudmouth, pritty good. But both of them have a rasp and don't sound similar to the true muscle car sound. I'm gonna go with TDs soon and QTP headers. I want the deep true muscle car sound (Growl).

Don't get me wrong I still think they sound good for an aftermarket exhaust!

I had loudmouth on when i put my headers on and its annoying loud...Way too much noise, cops will be on your *** everywhere you go...I put a Borla catback on mine and havent regretted it since...If you want it louder and you have the borla catback, just change the plates and it will be louder and vise versa...

Go to www.ls1sounds.com and judge for yourself. Instead of spending $6xx plus for the Borla, consider paying $700 for the GMMG which is probably the most satisfying sound out there.

Loud mouth sounds great if you replace the resonator with a twister or a borla type muffler.

Thumbs up Exhaust

SLP makes THREE distinct mufflers
Powerflow ( Louder then stock )
Loudmouth 2 (louder then Powerflow)
Loudmouth ( LOUDEST )
ALL NEW MODULAR EXHAUST U pick it to your taste
good luck

For the money you can not bet them

Other then those I WOULD SAY GO SPEND extra for the GMMG
YOU will be very happy with that choice
