Default Which Headers

I really don't know which pair of long tube headers to get, and where to get them from. I know Pacesetters are really cheap, but how is the quality and performance gains. I have good things about Kooks, but I know they are more expensive. What about SLP? What else will I need to install headers?

THanks

I dont know much about the pacesetters, you might try doing a search. SLP headers hang down pretty low. In my own opinion you cant go wrong with a set of KOOKS or QTP. Just do your research there are a lot of compaines out there.

You'll need a y-pipe and then catalytic converters if you are going legal. I got some LT's for sale here. https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/281918-performance-stereo-parts-f.html

i just installed the pacesetter lt's, and i am very happy with the quality. fitment is great and i can see no reason in going with a much more expensive set. unless you just want to be able to say you have them.

QTPs all the way..do it right the first time... i had another set of headers before the QTPs .. they rusted in a few months..yes they were coated and so on....

Got my QTP stainless, gained more power and i can easily sleep at night thinking that they wont rust

and another reason why i got the QTPs is b/c of their cool options.. i got one of thier QTEC cutouts too.. i love that thing
