Thats what it must have been. I was told that they were stainless steel. I bought them used. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Im going with the QTP LT's. I was thinking of putting the SLP's on but Im also gonna lower my SS so they are out of the question now.

MY FLP headers are mild stell coated with silver stuff. They are now rusting after about 1.5 years. Consequently, I would prefer stainless like SLP headers.

People here told me to avoid them since I don;t have a lift and installation of the SLPs are a nightmare...

I bought some other SLP parts like an airbox that does not fit; consequently, I would be careful of this place. Besides they are now a Mustang shop.
