corsa vs cut out I installed my corsa yesterday everything looks & fits great but I couldnt beleave my ears 
the cut out was louder I still havent installed my headers but to what I heard on ls1sounds and my friends lt1 I was not happy.Maybe with the long tubes and fm13 it will roar like lion and not like ***** **** it almost sounds stock

I just put my car back to together I have F-11 cam, 5.3 heads, LT headers ORY pipe and corsa. It is louder than $hit. I was going to put a cutout before I finished but now that I hear how it sounds I dont think I will do the cutout.

I've got the corsa system with stock exhaust manifolds and a catted y-pipe (damn CA smog laws!) and at idle it almost sounds stock, except for the cam burbling... however, at WOT it screams, more so than the stock system. corsa didn't design their systems to be the loudest all around. they were meant for a deep, mellow tone while at lower rpm ranges with an aggressive roar at higher speeds. if you want loud for cheap, go with the Loudmouth system

i have corsa on my car. at idle it is not much louder then stock, i agree there. at WOT it sounds good in my opinion. my car is the stock 02 ws6 about 5 down on ls1 sounds. (car on dyno). putting on qtp headers this weekend, with their catted y pipe. i also put a cutout in the i pipe with a qtec on it. its fun to fool around with. my car can go from the "stock" sounding corsa, as my friends call it, to a system that is about as loud as my friends gmmg. im keeping the cutout in with the qtps and catted y. i will have "lastcall190" send another clip to ls1sounds when my car is back on the dyno(thanks J)
