Yet another true dual question
I was wondering about this setup. I have QTP LT's and no cats and want duals. System would be 3" from the header to the X-pipe, with a 12" bullet on each side before the X, and then 2.5" after the X with two more bullets or chambered mufflers and dumps.
Would this system sound good and would there be any loss in gains due to having an extra set of mufflers??

You might not have enough room before the x for two bullets (even 12") On my setup and many others that I have seen, the pipes from the headers to the x don't really have a straight 12" section for any bullet mufflers. You'd actually need like 16-18" for the total length of the bullet.
Maybe you could with a different muffler to reduce the sound a bit. Magnaflow 4 x9's will work, but I don't know how much quieter they are compared to the bullets.

I have 12" bullets in the normal position, then i run under the axle and have 2 more 12" bullets under the gas tank (sounds safe, dont it ) I realy like the sound, although i think im gonna give some magnaflow 4x9s a shot when I change to a passenger's side over the axle duals setup.
