Default Ordering QTP headers tomorrow.

My question is should I get the ones with the air fittings or the race version? My car is 99% show and we do not have emissions in WI as of now but may in the future. Is there any down side to keeping the air system on the car? Thanks, Dan.

No downside at all, just a little less wieght off your front end. You could just get some block off plates for the AIR, that way if you need to get tested in the future you can just put everything back on if needed.

Moving cats is just as illegal as not having them. So having headers is illegal too in some **** states. You can run cats without the AIR system anyway. I would save your money and get the race version. That's what I did (though I haven't installed them yet).

Race version. Take the AIR system out, saves you 5-6 pounds, lol. I have a ORY and GMMG. At first I didn't like it cause it was too raspy. Had a 12" bullet welded in the I-pipe and toned the rasp down considerably. I'm still not 100% satisfied with the sound, but everyone else says it sounds awesome. I'll never be happy.

Thats a shot below the belt! The old lady promised that the mod money would not go away after the little one comes. i don't believe her so I'm ordering the headers tomorrow.
PS... I'll trade the SS straight up for the H2 if you want......let me know!!!!
