NO Spark at plugs????Help!!

I just bought a 1993 camaro V6, 3.4 not 3.8 I was sitting in a parking lot when all of a sudden she died all power remained such as radio and guages but no engine . now whe I try and start it she just turns over to no avail fuel pump works batt. is good , no plug spark though...what could this be???she does have coil packs but there are three seperate ones surely not all three are bad...ignition module was replaced and is getting power, any ideas ???

I did test the crankshaft position sensor and its good ..but upon working on the car some more I have discovered the ignition module(new) is'nt getting power...what will cause this ??the fuses are fine..

Yes the pink wire powers the module in the 2 wire connector. it should have power key on. Check the main fuses & fusable links.
I will dig around for some info it's been a while since I've worked on a 3.4 f-car.

Just curious how you would test the crankshaft position sensor? I am having similiar problems with my ride as well.

OK did some quick checking, coming back. I dont know how to tell you to test the CKP & CMP sensors. The crank is a hall affect at the baalancer right? I always use an ocilliscope to check them,I know not a common tool.Check # 11 underhood fuse box
Have injector pulse? Sorry for the little help.

Auto zone does free testing of components like that....basically they check to see if the magnet is still working in the sensor...

Hey check your wires... i had serious problem like that once on my old camaro. It would shut off, it even shut off while i was driving once. Then i pulled over and waited and then i was finally able to start it back up. Check your wires, sometimes something could be loose and it could effect all of them. My wire on top of my iginiton coil would sometimes get loose. I had to zip tie it to where it wouldn't come loose. Hope that helps.
