low rumble!!
With a true dual exhaust, which part of the system is responsible for the low, deep sounding rumble? The h, x pipe? or is it the turn downs?
I would like to know because i would like to get the lowest rumble out of my loudmouth and i not sure which muffler to put in there. Borla xr-1, magnaflow. I've heard some magnaflows nd they sound pretty deep.
Any borlamouth guys jump in and a few comments, that would be great. Or anyone else that might help.
I know, its a dead topic, but ive searched tons and still unsure which muffler will get the lowest, deepest rumble out of my 408 though its low already.
thanks
thanks...
Also, has anyone used a SLP bullet in their exhaust yet?

p.s. hope you can live with some resonation though
flowmaster, hooker?
I wouldnt want to loose to much of the volume of the exhaust but just something like a loudmouth with stock manifold/cats, with a deep tone.
THe chambered muffler sounds like a good i dea but ive never seen it done, so i wouldnt know which one would fit...hmmm im gonna check this out...
anyone else?
thanks ya'll!
i waw just looking at a hooker super competetion muffler.....how would that sound? i would like the deep sound but if it isnt loud "enough", then i dont want it!!
Just went down to the shop where im gettng my tires put in and i started it and wow, that exhaust is freaking loud!!!! if im standing close to the motor, its sounds great, but when im infront of the pipes, forget it. I never thought i would say this about my loudmouth but it just doesnt sound refined at all.
so wat do you think. 3-chamber or single chamber?

would that straight chambered muffler reduce alot of yolume or less than the 40 flowmaster?
