Default Bolt ons needed before H/C

Next fall my warranty will expire and I will begin modding. I want to do a H/C swap as quickly as possible so my question is: what bolt-ons besides headers will I need so I don't restrict gains with it?

Some info on the car would be good. Gonna assume your an 01 - 02 since you still have warranty, probably 02. Also what are your plans for the car? What do you want to achieve with the car?

Headers is a must. If your an auto your probably gonna need a converter, manual might need new clutch depending on how much power you plan on making. Gears to keep the cam in the sweet spot. ls6 intake if your not 01 or 02. Suspension stuff to plant the power, new rear end when yours breaks.

headers and an LS6 intake if you are currently driving a 98-00 f-body. 01-02s already came with the LS6 intake from the factory.

Sorry I left that out...I have an '02 Z28 M6. I want atleast 400rwhp out of the car and I went to be somewhere in the area of mid 11s in the 1/4 mile. This car will be my daily driver so I want to keep stock gears...I'll save up for a 12-bolt or 9" (not sure which yet) after I get the power I want out of the car.

you can have all the power you want but if you can't drive out of the driveway b/c your rear end is shot....what good is the motor? just a thought....start saving now

you don't necessarily need heads and cam for 400rw and mid 11's. just a good cam. do some research and you'll see what i'm talking about!! these ls1s are crazy strong motors out of the box, doesn't take much to wake them up.
