I also ditched my ORY for true duals and the difference is unbelievable.
If you are looking for a remedy to your problem alot of people put a bullit muffler in their I pipe to cut down on the RASP.

Depends, everyone has a different opinion. I for one hate true duals because it rattles the **** out of ur interior and the drone is annoying as hell cus its right under you. However i LOVE the sound of Lt, ORY and LM. Most say its raspy, some say its not. Its all up to the owner. Id suggest finding someone in ur area with the setup ur looking for, or..... trial and error if you got the $$ lol.

LS1ownzYOU not hi-jacking the thread or anything but I see LS6 intake coming soon. There is one in the Texas section for $300 if no one has taken it yet.

ive had true duals, and tho they sound badass, i cant stand the interior noise and vibration. i am sticking with a catback and a cutout for when i wanna be loud its bewteen the hooker and the dynomouth. i can get a complete hooker catback brand new local for 230!!

if you ahve the option get hooker! especially if your getting a cut-out as well, dynomouth/Loudmouth 2 are straight through, is almost as good as having a cut-out even.

Get hooker sounds 10x's better and can be had for cheaper.

Yeah but i got a 2000 w/ EGR. I dont wanna have to pay an extra 50$ for a mail order tune to shut it off, and i dont wanna drive with an SES light on otherwise id get it.

Ill prob end up getting the SLP one w/ EGR.

My Setup:

SLP LT's, SLP y-pipe, ORY pipes (in place of the cats), and SLP Loud Mouth. This set-up had awesome sound but was rather raspy upon hard acceleration. I cut out the resonator on the SLP Loud Mouth, and replaced it with an 18" Dynomax bullet muffler (hence the "Dynomouth" name). The sound was virtually the same, and the rasp was gone.

I had a "dynomouth" on my car when it was close to stock. My only mods were: !cats, lid, TBB, FRA. It was horrible, really bad rasp & vibrations. It was on my car for a week. I would go with a Hooker cat back instead.

I tried the dynomouth with LT's and ORY. I tired LM, LT's and ORY. I tired LT's ORY and stock SS catback with the LM resonator (could't find the stock I pipe). :puke: Anyone who tells you there is no rasp with ANY LM based exhaust, even 2 or 3 bullets in it - is kidding themselves. True duals sound AWESOME - but it is very loud in the car.

LT's, ORY & Magnaflow w/QTP cutout
