Default Reinstalling power steering pump?

Is there any specific way you are supposed to reinstall the power steering pump? Best way to get the air out and what not. I am gonna swap in a new shortblock and never took this pump off before so wanted to make sure there is nothing I should know before putting it on.

When I swapped my motor I left the PS pump in the engine bay as a closed system. No need to drain it. etc.

I've replaced several ford pumps before and you generally fill it up, start the motor and turn the wheel back and forth lock to lock, while making sure the reseviour stays full of fluid.

Moving to external engine now...
