Default question on Pacesetter LT and slip fit collectors

Hey, I was wondering if you have to weld an exhaust to the Pacesetters for it to seal well or does the slip fit design work well enough so you don't have to? My true duals are on the way from Lane, and I'd like to have the option to take off my exhaust if need be without cutting it off the headers.

I had some very small leaks that I only knew by looking at the color by the collector. Ended up loosening the band clamps and using some high temp RTV to help seal things up. Honestly have not looked since to see if it fixed it.

Yeah I think Lane's kit will come with clamps. Good to hear the slip fits work as I really don't want to weld the system to the headers.

Jason

mine are just tacked in place for a little extra strength but they don't leak either.
