Default Header instructions

I have SLP headers and Y pipe. I plan on installing them this weekend. Does anyone know where there is a walkthrough on installing them or any help on it? Also is there instructions for the AIR and EGR delete?

Thanks,
Justin

Speed Inc. has the SLP indstructions on their website. It's in PDF format. AIR & EGR delete is dome through the PCM. Speed Inc. can do that for you too. Also read the exhaust sticky..it is quite detailed.

first off remember that patience is the biggest thing. when you begin make sure you have all the tools you are goin to need to finish the job. all your sockets and everything. jack the car up as high as possible safely. have a friend on the top of the car to hold the header when you slide it up. for the drivers side, unbolt the steering shaft and remove it. remove the oil filter it will make your life easier. then slowly place the header in from the bottom. it will go in with minimal work and have your friend bolt it up loosely. remember to put the steering shaft back in!! the passenger side sucks. you will need to unbolt the transmission crossmember and have a jack under the transmission to hold it at normal height. put the header in as far as you can get it then drop the transmission as far as it will go but keep it supported. then try to get the header in further. jack up the transmission and try to get the header in further. you may want to get a prybar to pry the transmission over to the drivers side to let you get more room for the header. get one at home depot for like 20 bucks. keep doing this until the header goes in. it will take some time and patience but it will eventually go in. the last desperate measure is to unbolt the passenger side engine mount and jack up that side of the motor as you put in the header but do this as a last resort. it is a pain in the *** to get to the bolts after the header is in. when it is in bolt it up and enjoy, but make sure no wires are touching the header. you may have to re-route the starter wires through the engine mount. i did. finally dont listen to what everyone says about slp being crappy. i like mine aside from them hanging low on a lowered car. stainless and ceramic cant go wrong. enjoy and take your time. good luck - matt
