pacesetters+loudmouth=headache!! hey guys,i have a 00' ws6,and i put on pacesetters [coated],and tsp's ory pipe,and bolted on the mouth i already had.i drove the car,and everyone in my wee town heard me!i like loud but thats like a monster truck loud!now i know what you guys mean by "raspy".anyways,tsp told me a cheap and good way to quiet it down would be to put on a moroso spiraltune muffler.anybody heard this setup?he said it would take away almost all rasp,and make it a deeper,quieter sound.comments?thanks guys.by the way,pacesetters rock!easy installation and nice craftsmanship!
my car with the bullit welded in place of the LM resonator was still raspy and loud, I now have 3" duals with Flo-Pro Twisters which are basically the same as the Moroso's and it now has no rasp and is not nearly as loud as the "dynomouth" was on my car.

Go with the Moroso spiral, I had the EXACT setup as you...Pacesetter LTs, ORY, and Loudmouth with spiralflow muffler in place of the resonator.
However, now I'm in the process of changing to a Magnaflow catback, and an QTP electric cutout under the back passanger seat. This way I get the best of both worlds.

I have Pacesetter LT's and ORY sittin in my room. I have the feeling im not gonna like it with my Loudmouth. Anyone here put a Loudmouth 2 in the resonator's place? I'm lookin for a loud but rumble muscle sound. I have heard just about every sound clip on LS1sounds.com that there is and still haven't found a sound that i really like with LT's and ORY not sure what to do, i cant afford High flow cats right now. I have my original SLP Dual, Dual, at home but i still don't like the way that sounds either.

The best exhaust is the one you like the most, and that for 99.5% of people is the GMMG, but that is a pretty penny. You can get almost any sound you like with true duals (muffler choice), but keep in mind (a lot of people do not) if your looking for something similar to a stang or hemi, that is imposible. Looking to sound like an LT1? Small block chevy? Imposible.
I would like to see a true dual with Corsa mufflers.

it was a bit loud and raspy for me so i welding in a hooker muffler and it toned down the noise and killed most of the rasp.

Nothing better then a Cold Start! Sounds awesome when you hop in your car first time that day after sitting overnight! really pops when the pipes are cold though if you get on it. I find my self sitting in the parkin lot warming the hawk up for a solid 5 minutes before i move cause im embarressed to drive down the road with all the popping. anyway i will listen to the ones you mentioned. thanks..

I looked at GMMG site and ya it is expensive $700.00 for a cat-back? come one. Its also ugly, looks like something i ran over with my brothers truck a couple times. Not that anyone will see it but still for the $$ they can make it look better. I will have to listen to some of the GMMG sound clips now.

00ws6spd, so u and I both made the same mistake. From now on, when someone on LS1Tech tells me something, I am going to listen. I posted a thread that was titled "True Dual, or Loud Mouth." I slapped on my Pacesetter LT's last week, and took it to the shop and got a 3' y pipe hooked to my slp loudmouth, with a cut out!!! Boy, my car is not raspy, it sounds crapy!!! Loud is not the word to describe my exhaust, and I wasted 60 bucks for a custom Y-pipe. Next paycheck, I am am going summit X-pipe and two spintech mufflers!!! I suggest you do the same!!!

my friend has tru duals with borla xr1s and I LOVE the way his sounds.He went and pulled some 11.3's cam only. Id like to go to a tru dual system one day. I heard the TSP tru dual system on a Ws6 the other day and it sounded good.
