Default 98 TB is diff then exceeding years?

so i send my tb out to get ported. I put one back in and there seems to be an extra coolant line on it. My car is a 98. Is there a difference between 98 throttle bodies and the years after with the coolant lines?

Are you talking about the vent line? That line should be on the upper left (if looking into the front of the tb). The only difference between years is the cam that opens the tb.

You may have a truck TB, I did some exchanges back last year during the time you got yours and I had a couple of truck TBs that I sent out to the 98-99 guys because the cam arc being the same. I do not remember exactly though . Check and see if the cam is wide or narrow where the throttle cable lays in it.

Always two coolant lines, down on the bottom. They
differ by diameter & angle. Simple answer is, bypass.
I hacksawed the boss clean off, on mine; made room
for the bypass hose to route nicely.

PCV fresh air uptake nipple is on the top of the TB.

Those 3 should be it, for fittings.

that explains it all then. Those midget ninjas stole the line that the fluid comes out of the Tb. I thought it should just be naked when i hooked it back up and then coolant started to pour out of the tb.

I made sure Shaner knew I expected a 98-style TB in return for my core. I'm sure he would have done it anyways, but I like being sure.
