V/R Velocity Stack
Gentleman,
The VaraRam velocity stack insert blocks the throttle body PCV port in the throttle body, does this have any ill effects on the PCV system or efficiency/performance of the motor. I have currently sent my T/B out to be ported by LPE. Any info would be appreciated.

I have removed the V/R I think this was throwing the P0107 code, I am waiting for the Fed Ex to deliver a ported one from LPE. Blocking off the PCV port can't be good for the breathing of the motor/performance.

hey guys i had a vararam velocity stack on my 1997 surburban. Before the stack the burban went a 17.10 in the quarter and had raced it many times and ran the same number. Then I installed the velocity stack and went to the track it ran a 16.77
and it was about the same temperture as the night I ran the 17.10. I was pretty pleased with my vortec motor with 194,000 miles on it.

I bought mine directly from them because I had a bad feeling about the VR velocity stack. I sent it back the next day...it caused problems with stumbling and the engine kept trying to stall. With how inexpensive a proven ported TB is, that is really the only good option.
