Why Are Coil Pack Relocation Kits Necessary? I was under the impression that if you had a 98, and put 5.3 or 99+ heads on the car you needed them--am I wrong?

If you run some aftermarket rockers you have to run bigger valve covers....in which case you relocate the coil packs. Some people do it because the stock set up looks like crap.
with the 99 plus heads all you would have to do is get center bolt valve covers and the braket for the coil packs
