Default Header Help

The setup- stock bottom end, AS stg 2 heads 11.2 to 1 cmp, FM13 cam, FAST 90mm and NW 90 tb.
My TPIS headers have cracked and cannot be repaired unless taken apart.
I want to go with a stainless header.
I need to keep the cats on.
I have a custom 3"Y pipe with flowteck merge with a cutout at the rear axle.
What are the plus minus for going with a 1 7/8 tube or a 1 3/4 to 17/8 tube.
Some of my options are
QTP
Kooks
Stainless works
Supermax.
Any others that I should be looking at? Can I use a hvmc with cats, will it fit?

check the dyno section for 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 results. i'd stick with the 1 3/4 Kooks or QTP's with the HVMC. yes you can use cats with the HVMC, however you'll need a new Y or modifiy your old one to work.
