You need the SFC's. These are a great mod. HP Tuners is a worthwhile investment. It is an editor and scanner all in one. It is $500 and lots of information on this site on using it. I would also get a ported TB from Mark Shaner.

I'd save some of it for gas... damn near $3/gal around here...

Do a cam! Forget about the heads for now. Just cam, springs, pulley, and a tune. $1200 = an extra 45-60 hp. The TR224 cam is recomended for overall hapiness.
