Spark Plug Question

Spark Plug Question ok out of the 6 plugs I got today #'s 2 & 7 had some oil at the top of the threads (top being part furthest away from electrode) They were all kinda reddish in color... is this good or bad.
Does the car puff blue smoke? I'm betting a valve cover leak. With that much oil you would look like a mosquito fogger going down the road. Plus, that oil is from the crankcase, not from inside a hot combustion chamber.

The car doesn't look like a mosquito fogger and doesn't burn oil between changes. Sometimes there's a puff of smoke but I figured it was just unburnt gas since I don't have cats.
Correct me if im wrong but someone a while back said they ran some octane booster through that turned their plugs red. But yeah I dont think they should be dripping with oil either though.

1bad, i think you are fine. If the car dosent really burn oil, then you're safe. I just did plugs last week, and one of mine did look crappy like the last pic, but she runs like a champ, and hasn't lost any oil since last oil change (7k miles)
