i just put on my pacesetter's and i went to the dealership and got stock gaskets. I feel that they are better than using some paper gasket or trying to reuse old ones.

I totallyy agree. I would not reuse the paper type, even Fel Pro gaskets.
I paid $20 for a pair from Speed inc.

Don't ever reuse gaskets, but paper gaskets tend to wear out quickly. I made that mistake with the gaskets on the bottom of my shorties where it hooks up to the y pipe on one side and cat on the other. 3 or 4 days and it was fried, and I had an exhaust leak. Changed it for GM gaskets and NO problems.

Only reuse neoprene type gaskets (intake, TB). In most cases GM gaskets are the best choice. Including header and head gaskets.
