Default Just wondering....

Hey guys.. I'm new here.. I hope this is the right place to post this.. But I had an idea for a new exhaust system and I was wondering what you guys would think...

1st off, I have an LS-1 Trans Am, and I was thinking about Replacing the headers I already have, and then instead of one 2 1/2 inch pipe(Im guessing on the size) Im going to run two 3" pipes back from each header. But do you think I should remove the Cat or just replace it with a high flow? Then after that Im going to run it into an exhaust, and then run it outta the exhaust and just order some tips off the internet.... sorry if that sounds stupid.. once again Im new to this so, just please let me know what you think, thanks again guys and girls
