What's considered a bolt-on?
So as an ammendment to the 'never removed valve cover' rule I would state that as long as one replaces anything broken with a bone stock OEM piece only (I'm talking stock LS1 springs, not the more common LS6 spring upgrade) then it can still be a bolt on car.

Anything rear or transmission related (clutch, converter, TH400 swap etc.) is still a bolt on IMO.
There is no correct answer unless its in a rulebook of some sorts.
