Default Custom true duals installed...pics!!!!

well, i bought a 2.5" Flowtech x-pipe and 2 18" Sweet Thunder mufflers. it took me and my exhaust guy an hour to do, which is not bad considering what we had to do. we bent and cut 2.5" piping for the inlet and outlet pipes for the x junction. i took a large rubber mallet and banged in a few places on the drivers side to get good clearance for the left front inlet pipe. we have the x placed about 3/8" from the torque arm and still have great ground clearance. i left the sweet thunders dumped for now but we cut the outlet pipes in a way so the mufflers are only a few inches apart. this will help when i wanna run the pipes out the back. anyway, the system sounds incredible!!! no interior drone or vibration whatsoever unlike my tsp system w/ bullets im not doggin tsp whatsoever, they make a killer system, but those damn bullets drone like a son of a bitch anyway, the install went very well and i took a couple of pics of my clearance from behind and from the drivers side. by the way, Sweet Thunders rock

actually me n my girl carried on a conversation fine tonight. when i had bullets we couldnt even hear the radio. very very tame inside. as far as labor, lets just say i have a good friend that does extremely clean welding. i gave him 100 bucks and we called it square. no drone, vibration, shake, nuthin....but they will bark outside

Did the exhaust shop have a Mandrel pipe bender? Or did you buy mandrel bent peices and cut/weld them? What shop was this done at? I am looking into getting a custom Y made maybe and didn't know if there was anyone around that did mandrel bent exhaust work.

Dude are you on any local boards? I live in Norfolk and I'd REALLY like to hear your car and see your set-up. I'm trying to go that route myself. If you're willing to drop any info please shoot me a PM.

Is this system loud enough to wake your neighbors up and set off car alarms, im not looking to wake people up, but i am looking for a nice throaty sound at idle and driving speeds..let me know
