Will the ZO6 manifold fit on an LS1

Will the ZO6 manifold fit on an LS1. A guy down the street is selling his. He just got some new headers. Thanks you guys are always great.

Yes they will, but how much is he selling them for because your going to do alot of work to change them when you could just save some money and go buy a set of headers.

ok will they or wont they. I have a 98 TA. And if they will how much will I have to modify them. He wants 100 bucks for them.

they will physically bolt up to the motor but they won't fit your y-pipe, not sure whether they'll fit down the space between the body and the motor either. save for Macs or Pacesetters.

The only reason I was foing to try and use these was because I read that these work almost as good as long tube headers they only differ by about 6 horses.

Only 6 hp? that doesn't sound right. I know that they flow plenty better than LS1 manifolds, but I doubt that they flow anywhere as good as LTs.

exactly. I doubt that the seller spent ~ 1000 dlls on new headers just to gain an extra 6hp.

It may sound like a good deal but they won't fit in your F-body. Just wait a bit longer and buy some Mac mid-lengths or other LTs. Trust me, It'll be worth it.

These were proven to flow ONLYx6 horsepower less than long tube headers on the LS1/LS6 motors on a recent study done by Car Craft Mag.

Long tubes or midlength's?
Sounds odd that a factory manifold will produce power like a long tube header.

Like was previously stated, they will bolt up, but won't fit the y-pipe, and probably won't fit between the motor and body.

I highly doubt the accuracy of that test, too.
