Default BBK intake

Has anyone used this yet or heard anything good about it? It looks good and not a bad price. They say gain's of 12-20 horspower from it.

I will believe it when I see it. The LS6 is very good and it is really hard to improve on it. BBK has pushed back the release date several times. I would not hold your breath.

its an overweight piece of ****!

why would you want a 25lb intake that will gain 10rwhp
when you can get a 2lb intake that will gain the same, without the heat soak!!

just get an LS6 and be done!

I just got the latest Summit catalog and I made an interesting observation. BBK is no longer making claims (based on the catalog) that the intake will make any more power than an LS6 intake. They are claiming that it is based on the LS6 and will make 12-20 more horsepower than the stock LS1 intake. Sounds like they made a pooper, like I was beginning to expect. They suck. It just goes to show you how good the LS6 intake is. Especially after all the upsets with the LS2 intake sucking too compared to the LS6.
