Covering the exhaust My left side tailpipe is dangerously close to the rear ground effects. Will it hurt anthing to paint it with some high temp paint or do I need to get something different?

Sounds like you got hosed on the install. Who did you pay, how long ago and how much...depending on a TA or Camaro it should not be difficult to line up tail pipes come on.
