best exhaust: Loudmouth, Loudmouth 2 or the GMMG?

If money is not an issue, i would not waste time with a "catback" system. Just spring for some true duals, like the one's TSP makes. I just put them on last week, with Pacesetter LT's, and no cats, and am running Sweet Thunder Mufflers.....and to be honest, nothing i have heard sounds even close. Gives you that old school muscle car sound with barely, if any Rasp, and No Drone. TSP Duals run around $400.00 or so, and the Sweet Thunder Mufflers are $100.00 for both.
So if i were you, I would certainly consider the setup mentioned above. Just my 2 cents.

I just installed the LM 2 and I absolutly love it!!!! It is very deep and throaty, with barely any drone and rasp. This is a brand new system and I only know of one other guy on here that has it (I think his name is something like Navy2000) It has a nice little rumble at idle and really has a nice note when you get on it. By far the best system for the price. I have a feeling the LM II is going to really gain alot of popularity.

I didn't read all the replies, but....
IMO the GMMG is the best sounding cat-back. Period. May want to run cats though. The SLP loudmouth is great for the money on a stock manifold/Y-pipe car. Havn't heard SLP LM 2. THE best sound is true duals.
And the best sounding muffler for the true duals is probably sweet thunder chambered mufflers.

Another vote for GMMG though personally I would not spend 700 on a catback. but the ones I have heard sound badass.

borla is expensive, but if it sounds as good on an ls1 as it does on an lt1 i would get it...just try to find some people with f bodies, ask them if you can hear it, idle, normal cruise, flooring, and just get whichever one you like--its your money, get what you want

I got the L/M II, $700.00 was just a bit too much for a cat back right now. 02 M6 Z28, stock manifolds and I like the sound a lot, especially at WOT. Maybe after a few more get the new system they will like it more than the original L/M, just my opinion.

My vote goes to GMMG! I got mine for $600 shipped when there was a GP a while back. I love taking my car to the car wash and hearing my car start after it goes thru the wash. People turn their heads because of the rumble it has when the car starts and the guy that dries my car likes to gas my SS off the car wash line! This is with stock headers too! Now if I only had full lenth headers on it with cats???

I've had my GMMG on for about a week, I also put an elictric cut out on it. It is kill. It is a more quality sound, with the cut out open it sounds like a race car. I had the flowmaster, it sounded pretty good but this gmmg is more refined. The tips on them could have been finished better though, the edge were there cut has a rough cut edge. But the sound is amazing!

Well I've owned 3 Z28's, I've had LM, Borla, Magnaflow(my favorite), Flowmaster, Full Boar, cutout, cats, no cats etc......Needless to say alot and nothing comes close to the sound of the true duals IMO I had installed yesterday. Total cost was $280.00 which included bullets, h-pipe, connecting to my Mac Mids w/ a ball flange and turndowns ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)

I was just at a small car show (temp of 38* kept people away) and there wasn't a thing out there that sounded better, louder, meaner, or tunred more heads and got more questions than my car when i started it up. Let lone when they heard it at 6k.
