Default removing traction control

I don't know if this is the right forum. I have traction control on my 99' camaro and i want to remove the module on the left of the throttle body and just get a throttle cable from a non traction control car directly to the throttle body. i heard this is not possible but was wonderng if anybody had done this successfully.

All you need to do is to pull the TCS fuse. It will automaticlly disable TCS whenever the car starts to move. You will need to get a non-TCS throttle cable if you want to remove the module. Routing the new cable through the firewall is not fun. Once the module is removed, you will also lose cruise control, so can also remove the cruise module (its the other cable going to the TCS module) underneath the drive's side headlight area. Its about the size of a brick.

But the non traction control rear ends have a reluctor in the pumpkin (3 channel) whereas the TCS cars have 4ch with wheel sensors. The computer may be tied to one or the other.

Yeah, you could get a cruise control setup from a non-TCS equiped car. It just routes differently and connects to the throttle body.

The only problem is if you leave the TCS fuse plugged in after the module is removed. It will still try to use the TCS servo.

Will using like a lokar throttle cable work? Or is there a part# for the one that works. I have BS3 installed on my GTO and I am removing all the crap so I can clear up some space.
