whats the tourqe for the header bolts?

I believe it's 18ft-lbs
I just installed mine until they were good and tight.

yea....good and tight. i used locking header bolts.

and its "torque" not "tourqe", fyi.

It's 18 ft-lbs, and as said check them again after some miles to make sure they stay tight.

I haven't checked mine in since i put them on. Prolly like 4k miles or so. How do u know its leaking? My y-pipe leaks and it has black marks will my heads get black marks if its leaking?

I think first pass to 11ft/lbs and the second to 18ft/lbs.

And GT Griller, if you are seeing black marks on the heads, the leak will be big, and def. audibly noticeable, and if the leak is that big, it will probably be throwing your o2s off. Best way to check for leaks at the flange is the soapy water trick.
