Default Electric Water Pumps

im thinking of getting an electric water pump will i gain any power from this and if so how much could i expect on a 398rwhp n/a ls1? thanks

I have one . . . it's not a good value for hp, but it does keep the engine much cooler between runs. I didn't dyno before and after, but people that did say they got 5 hp.

It can dyno beween 0 and 7 hp. The choice is yours.

how reliable do these pumps tend to be?

I think between 3,000 and 7,000 hours for the race or street versions. The race version doesn't have the heater hose hookups.
