Default Ported TB?

A friend of mine put my ported Tb off of my 2001 SS on his 2000 SS and He says it runs worse than it did before the install?

Any Ideas what it could be?

Vacuum leak from the intake O-ring not being
seated right, forgetting to reattach the PCV hose,
needing time for idle to relearn to the different
TB / IAC airflow characteristics, etc. Or cables
not properly snug.

I forget whether the throttle cam break-point
from small (early) to large (late) is at '99 or '00.
But if his old TB had a brown spring and a smaller
pulley then the throttle cable may not pull a blue
spring TB full open.

Start with the basics, like blade angle with the
gas pedal matted (engine off).

also, you gotta retune your MAF tables, they get thrown off quite a bit with the ported TB. look in the sticky in the PCM section, it's all there
