I have been looking on LS1sounds.com i like the way the Spintech muffler sounds with dual outlets, I also like the hooker. I want something loud! i just orded my LT with ory, now i have the SLP dual/dual way to quite. Which is louder the spintech or the hooker. I am sure the hooker flows better, but i would be willing to loose 2-3 hp for a louder exhaust. Do not want duals or chambered.

 

is there a reason why...i can imagine you don't want duals since you have the ory...but why not a gmmg...i'd say hooker would be your best bet out of those two...but there are louder cat-back's...borla, loudmouth, tsp rumbler (my recommendation if you didn't get a gmmg)

 

My personal taste, I do not like the "unrefined" sound of the bullets and chambered mufflers. I

 

i don't see how you can say that chambered mufflers sound unrefined...they are not even in the same category as bullets (which i do not like)

 

go the easy way and get a cutout

 

why dont you like duals they are loud and deep....

 

i would recommend borla, me and a buddy just got done with a lt install and ory with borla and it sounds wicked awsome, and it is loud as hell. at wot its as loud as a nascar on sunday.

 

I had duals on my 00 WS6, I loved the sound but when i sold the car i noticed that the interior was loose and starting to rattle. I had 1 chambers flowmasters not sweet thunder though. I also do not want to alter with the car too much with it being a Firehawk, i want it to be easly put back to stock.

My basic question is, How loud is the spintech muffler?

 

not many people run them so not many people could really tell you prolly

 

I run spintechs on my GTO, but it's true duals w/4 cats
it's not very loud, barely drones, i'm running the pro-street ones

I just installed my spintech on my 00 trans am and sounds great!!! Really proud of picking that exhaust. Its mufflex with the 4in. sointech muffler!! Sounds quiet at idle but when stepping on it, all hell falls.(A nice non-annoying loud)!!!
