Silicone hose (turbo) for intake bellows?
Silicone hose has thinner walls than the Fenco rubber coupling, so it could flex more and not break the intake lid. The hose I am thinking of is blue on the outside and orange on the inside.
I have some 3" (75mm) ID silicone hose from my Turbo Buick days, but I need 3.5" (90mm) ID hose to replace the bellows between the MAF and the throttle body. Any one know where to buy such hose in a length long enough to trim it to fit the angled bend? I have found 3.5" ID hose, but it is only sold in 3" lengths intended for turbo applications. I would like to buy 6-12" length for this experiment.
Thanks,
