Default diagnose electrical gremlin

i installed a shift light into an 01 ss and used the 12v from the radio. sometimes it will trip a circuit breaker or something, because fuses dont blow and it will start after a few minutes. i can find a short or nething. help?

What a sec, do you have a no start or a no crank problem now after the shift light install?

i tapped my shift light into the fuse pannel, how is this thing hooked up?

i soldered it to th eradios 12v power line. and ocasionally when i go to start it everything shuts off. i havent seen any signs of a short and its grounded well so.. im stumped. it goes :click: then nothing... 5 minutes later it starts up fine and no fuses are blown and everything works fine.

hmmmm, i would try to undo that wire and tap in the fuse pannel and see if that helps anything
